Our customer built an elevated cabin deep in the woods of Glyndyfrdwy, Denbighshire, Wales, as a holiday home for those seeking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves in nature. Due to the height, a traditional straight staircase would have taken up too much space, so a spiral staircase was the obvious space-saving choice. We designed a 20-riser spiral stair to reach the existing walkway of the cabin, made from mild steel with vertical spindles, non-slip perforated treads, and a steel handrail. The entire staircase was factory-galvanised for protection against the elements.
