Kit Spiral Stair Shop

Welcome to our Kit Spiral Staircase shop. Here, you will discover our range of ‘off-the-shelf’ staircases that are crafted for easy DIY assembly and buy directly online.

Our adaptable models feature an adjustable riser height for on-site flexibility, and the spiral direction can be set to either clockwise or anticlockwise during assembly. With a variety of elegant finishes for both steel and timber components, you’re sure to find a design that complements your space.

The models showcased in our shop are tailored as secondary access solutions for areas like lofts and small mezzanine decks. Each model comes with vertical steel spindles and a choice of timber or steel treads. Additional options such as landing balustrade and riser bars are available to customise your order.

Diameters

The available diameters vary from model to model but 1600mm is the overall maximum for any spiral.   Kit spiral staircases are not large enough to be used as a primary stair but are suitable, in certain diameters, to meet regulations as secondary domestic stairs.

Materials

The central column barrels of all kit spiral staircases are constructed from steel cylinders and are available in a variety of powder-coated colors. The treads come in either beech wood or pressed steel plate. The handrails are provided in Nylon, or timber for certain models, to accommodate the product’s adjustable features. Each model varies in its material composition.

Floor to Floor Heights

The beauty of these kit systems is that the height of each step is adjustable.  A 12 riser kit for example will approximately cover heights between 2500mm and 2700mm giving you flexibility for your application.    On each model page you can select your height and the appropriate number of risers will be provided.

Accessories

Landing balustrade to provide protection around the opening is supplied in 1m kit lengths.  Also riser bars can be added to he order to reduce the gap between the treads to less than 100mm.  This is a regulation for domestic stairs in the UK.
