Spiral Staircase Wokingham

While working on a large gym extension for a health spa in Wokingham, the facilities team approached us for a functional, space-saving way to access a new circuits room. A spiral staircase was the obvious choice, neatly tucked into a corner. Built from steel with chequer plate treads, a steel handrail, and horizontal steel bars wrapping around it, the staircase featured a square platform at the top connecting the central column to the upper floor. All steelwork was powder coated to match the spa’s theme. The custom design measured 2400mm in diameter, giving a clear tread width of 1100mm, and was finished in RAL 7016. A few months later, the client ordered another similar spiral staircase for a different area of the building.
