Spiral Staircase Shropshire
Case Study – Model 76
This spiral staircase was supplied to a retired couple renovating a barn in rural Shropshire. A light, modern and stylish solution was required and our model 76 spiral was the perfect solution. The spiral was to access one bedroom upstairs above the open plan kitchen/diner and had a wall on two sides. The glass treads helped keep to maintain the passage of light from the window downstairs and the light hanging over the spiral.
It was subject to building control approval so riser bars were included to reduce the gap between the treads. You can see these 10mm stainless steel bars running horizontally between the treads. Subtle enough to reduce the gap without blocking any light. Our client took these great pictures after moving in and was thrilled with the result.
Glass Spiral Stair
The model 76 spiral staircase is a custom made model with each model supplied unique. Each spiral stair is produced to the floor height of the property and the entry and exit points are drawn carefully to ensure the best solution for house.
Treads on this model are either acrylic or glass and the balustrade structure is constructed with vertical steel spindles (as this project), curved acrylic or glass panels or horizontal stainless rails.
Of all the spirals we offer, the model 76 is the flight with the most impressive wow factor. We have a small flight assembled in our showroom and you are more than welcome to come and have a look.

" Annually we run a staircase photo competition where our customers send us pictures of the stair we have supplied. The winner invariably collects an iPad. In 2013 this client was the clear winner with some outstanding shots"
