Spiral Staircase Hamble
Case Study – Model 71
Our client had just retired and was building a smaller house in the garden of their existing property. Once complete they would move in and sell their older house.
The new house had three bedrooms upstairs and as the footprint of the property was small a staircase that required a small amount of space was required. Our client visited the showroom on several occasions before purchasing a Ash model 71 spiral staircase with a white stain. The stair was build with a 800mm clear tread width as it was classed as the main stair in the house.
Our client preferred the horizontal rail balustrade to the vertical spindles or curved panels so these were supplied in brushed stainless steel to match the centre column. She had to get approval from the local building control for these horizontal bars as they are sometimes not permitted being deemed climbable.
New build Spiral Staircase
The model 71 spiral staircase is made to measure with each model supplied unique to the height, rotation and pitch. The materials with which each is produced are hand picked by our client and we have the full range of options on show in our showroom in Romsey. This client visited on a couple of occasions to make her choices.
