What we can offer you
Our modern staircases are designed to create a strong architectural feature within the home while maintaining a light, open and contemporary appearance. Using a combination of timber, steel and glass, each staircase is carefully engineered to suit both the layout of the property and the overall interior design.
Whether specified for a new build or a renovation project, our modern staircase designs can be tailored to suit straight flights, quarter turns and feature layouts. Below you’ll find a selection of our modern staircase systems and recent projects, showcasing how each design can be adapted to a wide variety of homes across the UK.
Choosing your Modern Staircase
When selecting a new staircase for your property, several factors must be considered. Initially, assess the available space, the staircase’s height, and its layout or shape. Additionally, the choice of materials and design is crucial.
Layout
For new constructions, an architect will ensure the floor opening accommodates the staircase, and the positioning of walls will influence whether the staircase is a straight flight, quarter-turn, or half-turn. The staircase’s height will dictate the number of steps and risers needed. When replacing an existing staircase, the new one will typically mirror the previous design. For advice on staircase layout and required space, please contact us for the necessary stairwell dimensions.
Models
Our two modern stair designs differ in support structure. The Model 500 features slim-line steel stringers on both sides, while the WF design has a single wall stringer with floating treads for an open feel.
