Wooden Staircase West Sussex
Our client was an existing customer having purchased a WF staircase several years previously (please see Bespoke Staircase West Grinstead) for a outbuilding conversion. They were replacing the two existing steel staircases and needed a light an open staircase to make the most of the large windows running down the apex of the roof.
Each staircase was a straight flight running up in a large central void. They were constructed in solid oak with open risers and supported by the unique double stringer design of the SPIRIT stair system. Our client requested a brushed stainless steel balustrade system with horizontal rails running up both sides of the upper flight with a stainless steel handrail. Horizontally we matched the posts and handrail but went with toughened glass infill panels for a stunning, open and light feel.
Solid Oak Staircase
Our Spirit timber staircases are supported by a unique double timber stringer spine. Two stringers run directly down the centre of the staircase supporting the timber treads. The stair is available in virtually any hardwood and there is a wide range or balustrade options to compliment the timber of the stair and style of your property. Staircase can be configured as a straight flight, quarter on half turn depending on the wall location.
