Spiral Staircase Brighton

One of our regular customer required a new spiral staircase to access a mezzanine floor for a new Nissan dealership in Lancing near Brighton.  As they were an existing client they knew the product and gave us the specification at the outset.  To comply with the regulations we designed it 2000mm diameter giving the minimum 800mm clear tread width and introduced a centre column handrail.  As the spiral was for staff only (no children) the balustrade was formed with 6 x horizontal steel bars in stainless steel.   For aesthetics and stability we added an external stringer around the foot of the spiral giving a great swooping feel.  Treads were left steel plate for the client to add their own carpet once installed.  Landing balustrade upstairs was supplied by us and consisted of glass balustrade
