Bespoke Timber Staircase Ringwood
This stunning timber staircase was supplied to a customer near us in Ringwood, Hampshire. A new build with an open plan downstairs needed a bespoke timber staircase to complete the hallway. Our floating cantilevered WF timber staircase fitted the bill perfectly and was supplied in beech parquet which our customer stained themselves to match the doors & windows. We added a swopping curved handrail at the turn and had to introduce a little platform at floor level to ensure we missed the doorway below. This timber staircase was supplied with matching landing balustrade across the stairwell void as well as a stringer run externally. A truly stunning open bespoke timber staircase.
Floating Quarter Turn Staircase
WF Style Timber Staircase
The WF staircase is our most open, floating bespoke timber staircase. It has no stringer to the internal side so the treads appear to hover in mid air allowing the light to pass through. This works with a specially designed handrail that has a steel core. The spindles screw up into this handrail and the treads ‘load’ is therefore transferred to the handrail then to the newels top and bottom. The WF is available as a straight flight, quarter turn or half turn depending on the location of walls.
