Bespoke Timber Staircase Birmingham

A feature staircase with a difference was required for this refurb in Selly Oak, Birmingham. A grand timber staircase was requested but with a modern twist – and we duly obliged our Spirit style timber staircase. This structure has a double stringer positioned in the middle of the flight forming a ‘spine’ effect – the treads then cantilever over either side creating an open and modern feel. This timber staircase was supplied in solid Oak with a touch of stainless steel in the newel posts and spindles. Matching balustrade was included across the void to complete the feature for the hallway.

Quarter Turn Staircase

Our Spirit timber staircases are supported by a unique double timber stringer spine.  Two stringers run directly down the centre of the staircase supporting the timber treads.  The stair is available in virtually any hardwood and there is a wide range or balustrade options to compliment the timber of the stair and style of your property.  Staircase can be configured as a straight flight, quarter on half turn depending on the wall location.
