Modern Staircase Derby

A loft conversion required a modern staircase to gain access to he new bed deck.  Our client was keen to allow the passage of light with the new staircase so an open riser flight was essential.  The model 500 gave them that opportunity whilst combining timber treads and glass balustrade for a contemporary feel.  Crucially the staircase could not encroach into the room too much as it would block a thoroughfare. so we designed a quarter turn flight running up the wall ensuring tread 1 was as close to the wall as possible.
