Bespoke Staircase Liskeard

A new build in Liskeard, Cornwall required a show stopping custom made staircase for the new hallway and our client got in touch.  He liked the look of the model 500 system featured on our website and we quoted him a straight flight with the option of various timber treads and finishes.  After discussion he decided on an oak tread and a zig zag top / flat bottom stringer.  The survey  noted the headroom was  tight so the client instructed the floor be moved back 100mm upstairs in order to get a compliant staircase to work.  Frameless glass panels were bolted to one side of the staircase and also ran a few metres along the landing upstairs.  The steelwork was powder coated in RAL 7016 – anthracite grey which tends be the choice for most as it matches window frames from the majority of manufacturers.
