Choosing your Modern Staircase
When choosing a new staircase for your property you need to consider a number of elements. Firstly, the available space, the height and the layout (shape) of the stair and secondly the materials and appearance.
If a new build, an architect will have already ensured the opening in the floor is large enough for the staircase and the location of any walls will dictate whether the flight forms a straight flight, quarter turn half turn. The height of the staircase will determine the number of steps and risers required. If replacing a staircase a new staircase will generally follow the same shape of the previous layout. If you need advise with the layout and the space a staircase requires – please get in touch and we can let you know the stairwell size required.
We have two different designs of modern stair which all differ in the way they are supported. The Model 500 system has slim-line steel stringers to either side and the WF is constructed with a single wall stringer and floating treads creating a open feel.
Click on the links below to see more information on the model and a list of treads and balustrade options. Both options we have an extensive gallery and case study portfolio section to inspire you and to help you make the right choice.
All we need to price the stairs are the shape and the height. there is a handy contact form at the bottom of each page which you can fill in for a quotation.
